Slip the hollow edge of the bat cone over the butt end of your cricket bat. Push the grip off the cone. Push it onto the shaft of the bat without unrolling the grip. Do this until it reaches the shoulder of the bat. Pull the top grip taut against the bat. You will need to keep it tight so that it doesn’t slip off.
1. Repair toe cracks. Most cricket bat cracks can be repaired with glue and repair tape or twine, plus some sandpaper and oil. First of all, locate the crack and fill it completely with glue, such as wood glue or superglue. Remove any excess glue and allow it to dry for 12 to 24 hours.
